A space primed for relaxation and with fresh-air-for-fresh-thinking by the bucket load, ours is just the spot for a creative, fun and productive day.
The Gatehouse is our historic meeting space, standing just across from our main abode in a handsome, historic building that once held the keys to the tranquil village of Blanchland. This crenellated treasure features a sweeping staircase, a cosy fireplace and flagstone floors. Sitting 4 to 12 conference-style, or up to 18 theatre-style.
Designed with rural escape in mind but with the added benefit of a few ‘mod cons’, cosy country comforts combined perfectly with fabulous fodder to ensure everyone keeps energised throughout the day. We love when our meetings decide to stay over and keep the productive vibes going into dinner.....our main hotel has gorgeous historic areas to dine and keep the atmosphere relaxed with roaring fires and perfectly created menus and wine lists. Or keep the Gatehouse for the evening and our team will create the perfect private dining space for you to continue the innovative chat into the evening- we can even provide a private chef for the evening too!
